Cseke Vera, Stefka Dani, Seffer Tomi és Südi Matyi három hete kőkemény tanulásba fogott: elhatároztuk, hogy elindulunk az idei 12. kerületi Szellemi Olimpia Vetélkedőn.
Rengeteg évszámot, sportolót, adatot, sportágat és még annál is több információt kellett átnézni és megtanulni az újkori nyári és téli olimpiák történetéből. Középpontba az 1960-as római olimpia került (mivel 50. évfordulóját ünnepeljük hamarosan) valamint a közelgő 2010-es vancouveri téli olimpia. Feladatunkat emellett érdekesebbé és izgalmasabbá tette a képzeletbeli budapesti olimpia makettjének elkészítése. Be kell valljuk, Ildikó néni és Simics Sanyi segítsége nélkül közel sem tudtunk volna ilyen fantasztikus makettet alkotni. Hála nekik:)!
A versenyt a Jókai Klubban rendezték meg, december 8-án, délután. Borzasztóan izgultunk –bevallom őszintén mindannyian:) - öt középiskolával szemben kellett megmutatnunk, mire vagyunk képesek. Az első feladatban, valószínűleg az izgalom miatt még vesztettünk pár pontot, de aztán szinte valamennyi feladatnál az élre törtünk. A budapesti olimpia mellett érvelő szónoklatunknak már nagyon magabiztosan vágtunk neki…aztán jött az eredményhirdetés: a makettünk – versenytársaink szavazatai alapján! – a legjobbnak bizonyult, a versenyt pedig – holtversenyben a Városmajori Gimnáziummal – megnyertük!!
Szerényen vettük át az aranyérmeket, de nagyon nagy örömmel! Elfáradtunk, de jól esett! Nagyon! S lehet, nekivágunk a budapesti döntőnek is, amire ezzel az első helyezéssel vívtuk ki a részvételi jogot!

...és köszönjük minden tanárunknak, aki az elmúlt három hétben elengedett bennünket az órákról, hogy fel tudjunk készülni a versenyre. Igérjük, bepótolunk minden lemaradást!

Ott voltam a verseny elején (én is nagyon izgultam:-)), és láttam, hogy milyen csapatok versenyeztek. Nem hittem volna, hogy sikerül! Bár a Matyi mondta, hogy ő érzi a győzelmet. A csapatok tele voltak a sakkversenyről ismert tanulókkal. Minden csapat izgatottan tanult a verseny előtt. Látszott, hogy nagyon komolyan veszik. Dóri, neked is gratulálok, tudjuk, hogy mennyi munkád van benne. Múlt héten a focikupa, most a szellemi olimpia, mi jöhet még?
Ja és a makettünk magasan a legjobb volt! De ez a fényképeken is látszik.
